Queued requests are split into units and claimed by ready scanner machines on their next heartbeat. Choose Automatic to use any ready machine, or Selected machines to pin the request to specific ones — several machines split the target list in parallel.

Every ready machine may claim units. The target list is split into units of at most 4,096 hosts and distributed on demand — add machines to the fleet and they start working immediately.
Also supports IP lists, CIDR blocks, regions, batches, and programs.
